Picking a wedding date can be a really easy thing or a very complicated thing. We've come up with some ideas and recommendations to help you figure out that perfect wedding date.
Do you want to commemorate a special date?
- Holiday
- Grandparent anniversary
- 12-13-14
Consider the season.
- Weather
- Colors/look of season
- Profession – teacher, accountant
What about the day of the week?
- Save money on Fri or Sun
- Religious days
- Vendors – discounted weekday
Style and type can also play a part.
- Rustic - summer/winter
How long or short of an engagement are you wanting?
- 1yr at least to plan
- Can be done much quicker with lots of compromises
Complications that you may need to be aware of
- Planned surgeries
- Pregnancies
Venue and vendor availability
- Favorite venue
Floral choices
- Have to have peonies, get married when they are in season
Allergies or sickness
- Not spring!
- Someone can't be out in the humidity
