Summer Wedding Inspiration in Blue and White
Summer wedding season is just around the corner and today we are featuring a summer wedding from our friends at Willow and Vine Floral Design and M. Magee Photography.
This wedding took place at a private residence on Puget Sound. It was a warm, gorgeous, crystal clear day in the Pacific Northwest, which sometimes is a miracle in its self. This modern wedding with its minimal decor fit well into the views and architecture of the venue.
The bright royal blue and white just bounced off of the green grass. The Bride in a white ballgown dress has a bouquet of white roses with dyed blue bom Dendrobium Orchids. Her Bridesmaids were in fit and flare royal blue dresses carrying bouquets of white hydrangea. The gentleman is wearing a tan vest and trousers with a white rose boutonniere.
The flower girls flitted down the aisle in dresses of royal blue as well carrying a single white rose with blue and white ribbons.
The ceremony did not need much in the means of decor or floral as the couple did not want to take away from the spectacular view of Puget Sound. The minimal floral were white rose petals flanking the aisle with orchids giving a pop of more color. Each guest received personalized sunglasses with the couples name and wedding date to help with blocking out the sunshine.
The guest tables were set up with white linens and the centerpieces were all multi-level cylinder vases with submerged orchids and roses with floating candles and bright blue gems. Once lit the candles will give the ceremony a warm glow along with the Edison bulb string lights that are strung above the reception area.
The evening came to close with the sun setting over Puget Sound and the string lights lit overhead adding to the ambiance of a night of dancing and merriment.
