Guest Book Ideas – Episode #149
Guest books have changed a lot over the years. Traditionally it was a book that your guests signed for the testimony of those in attendance to the covenant of the marriage.
But we've moved away from that ledger type book and into some more creative and fun ways for our guest to record their attendance.
Polaroid guest book
Cards Against Humanity guest cards
Guestbook Monogram sign
Wedding quilt guestbook
Word find guestbook
Christmas wedding- Christmas tree balls
Message in a bottle
Marriage advice card- although don't take some personally you will get some jokers and trolls in the mix
Wishes or Words of Wisdom
Map or globe guest book-have guest either sign it or pin where they are coming from.
Circle words in a dictionary and sign next to it
Bible – highlight passages
Shadow boxes – corks, wood pieces
Idea book – date nights, how to make-up, dinners…
A guest box instead of a guest book, where guests can record a message on video.
Trying to get a count for the wedding day… how do you kindly put that an RSVP is required in the invitation?? I will need a count for the catering/table settings etc. I know that things will come up and some people that RSVP will not arrive and others will show up with more than expected but how do I get people to actually reply? It seems like RSVP-ing is something of the past. Can you give me any words of wisdom?? Should I just plan for an extra 15-20 more people than the RSVP's?
