• Make sure you dress them up! Here are a few suggestions
  • Flowers:
    • Around neck
    • In leashes
  • Ties/bowties
  • Dress
  • Hats
  • New collars and leashes
• During the wedding:
  • Best “man”/Pet of honor
  • Ring bearer or the flower girls, make sure to dress them up
  • If they are well behaved, they can be the sign holder (point guest to their seat)
  • Ride a horse to the ceremony/reception, down the aisle, or the getaway horse
  • Cake toppers, on napkins, and décor
• Pre-wedding photos/engagement photos for “save the dates” and invitations
• Use them to propose – A dog/cat can wear a sign or “the ring” around its neck
• Consider this before you decide on including them in the wedding
  • Their personality and temperament
  • Safety over style
    • Toxic flowers
    • Nothing too tight
    • Pet allergies in guests and fear of pets
    • Notify photographer – hire a photographer that is comfortable shooting pets
• Another idea – if you are an animal lover look at having your wedding at a zoo
