Episode #6 What You Need to Know for a Stress-less Wedding Day
First of all if you haven't already you must pack a day-of emergency bag! You just never know what can happen.
In your bag be sure to include the following items:
- brush and/or comb
- hairspray
- safety pins
- clear nail polish
- nail glue
- breath mints
- tums
- tissues
- small mirror
- pain relievers
- super glue
- white masking tape
- lint brush
- static spray
- stain removing stick
- emergency food, ie granola bars, pretzels
- water
- tea
- medications, asthma, insulin, anti anxiety, etc
- small toiletry bag, toothbrush and paste, make up, fem hygiene products, nail file, floss, bobby pins, pony holder, Deo, lotion, clear bandages
- spare hose(if wearing)
- sewing kit including scissors
After the kit is ready make sure to give to a responsible wedding party person to bring to the getting ready site.
We are leaving the times up to you but here is a basic itinerary for your wedding day happenings.This is our version of how the day should flow to give you a stress free wedding day .
It's been suggested that a light breakfast is the best thing to keep you going without losing steam.
-Bride and Bridal party hair and makeup (you've already made appointments or arrangements to have this done); Be on time but allow for late arrivals and problems. If you don't like your style, you will have time to change it. Also if you are incorporating your veil into your hairstyle now is the time to have that done.
-If you aren't already at your getting ready site ie. hotel, venue, then head that way.
-Have lunch delivered to the bridal suite for the bridal party
-Photographer should arrive if they are going to shoot “getting ready” photos.
-During this time the floral designer arrives with your bouquets
-Time to get dressed, don't forget that garter.
-Put on veil if you haven't already.
-Touch up makeup and hair
-Depart for ceremony site if not already there
-Time for pre-ceremony photos, bridal party and first look photos, unless you are going the traditional route
-now it is time to enjoy the wedding that you put so much effort into.
This is our agenda for brides on their wedding day. There are things that may come up and will have to be dealt with so having an agenda will make it much easier to deal with.
