So the one thing everyone planning a wedding is concerned about is definitely the wedding budget. It's easy to get caught up in the planning and overspend. We have done our research and come up with a detailed budget saving list.
Let's get to it.
- Have a non-Saturday wedding
- Cut the reception guest list
- Having ceremony and reception in one spot
- Use alternate floral choices
- Serve apps and drinks and don't have a sit-down dinner
- Don't offer an open bar, stick to wine and beer
- Have a smaller cake to cut and then serve from a sheet cake
- Re-use ceremony flowers including bouquets
- Skip the favors
- Email or use online save the dates and thank you notes
- Skip the save the dates altogether and just email your guests
- Hire a DJ that can officiate
- Purchase your dress at a sample sale or outlet or consignment shop
- Have a DIY party and make some of your décors
- Forget the corsages
