Guest books have changed a lot over the years. Traditionally it was a book that your guests signed for the testimony of those in attendance to the covenant of the marriage.

But we've moved away from that ledger type book and into some more creative and fun ways for our guest to record their attendance.

***Listener Question***

Trying to get a count for the wedding day… how do you kindly put that an RSVP is required in the invitation?? I will need a count for the catering/table settings etc. I know that things will come up and some people that RSVP will not arrive and others will show up with more than expected but how do I get people to actually reply? It seems like RSVP-ing is something of the past. Can you give me any words of wisdom?? Should I just plan for an extra 15-20 more people than the RSVP's?
